Veteran actor, husband of Janet Leigh and father of Jamie Lee Curtis. He died on September 29, 2010.

"Curtis died at his Henderson, Nevada home on September 29, 2010, of cardiac arrest.[30][31][32][33] In a release to the Associated Press, his daughter, actress Jamie Lee Curtis, stated:

"My father leaves behind a legacy of great performances in movies and in his paintings and assemblages. He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in-laws who were devoted to him. He also leaves behind fans all over the world. He will be greatly missed."[34]

He was interred at Palm Memorial Park Cemetery in Green Valley, Nevada on October 4, 2010.[35][36] His memorial service was attended by his daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ron Jeremy, and Vera Goulet[37]. He was buried with a Stetson hat, an Armani scarf, driving gloves, an iPhone and a copy of his favorite novel : "Anthony Adverse", among other things." [Wikipedia entry]

He was a wonderful actor…one of the old school.

RIP Tony Curtis

Star of one of my all-time favorite movies with one of the greatest closing lines, ever – "Some Like it Hot."

RIP Tony Curtis.

Didn't "miss it" at all, just was being lazy and didn't feel like posting it. My favorite Tony Curtis move was Operation Petticoat, I think it was called.

I am Sparticus! (yes, I know he wasn't but he was the first to stand up and say he was).

The old breed are dying off.

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.
