Just saw this earlier today. I remember him from all the old Dean Martin Roasts in the '70s.

I was STUNNED when I heard this this morning…

I thought he was already dead /unsure.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Me too!

Way before my time, but I know he was an icon.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

His song "Do the Mouse" was big in the 60's, along with the accompanying dance. I remember my aunts and uncles dancing it then, along with the jerk and the twist.

Believe it or not, he was pretty big in his day.

RIP.

I loved Soupy Sales. Have childhood memories of watching The Soupy Sales Show.

He could take a pie, like no other.

Loved the puppets on the show, Pookie the lion was my favorite.

Pookie would greet Soupy, "Hey bubby, want a kiss?' /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

RIP, Soupy.

Loved him and Shari Lewis who is gone, also.

I remember him on What's My Line!

I was so little, not even sure how I remember, but he was always funny.
