Last night as I was looking for results of a race from the weekend, I came across some sad news. A friend of mine had passed away earlier this month. I met Shaun 4 years ago at a drift race in Irwindale, he was nice and down to earth. I had no idea about the dynamics of the cars for this type of racing, so I was asking questions & he answered them, I thought wow he must be the head mechanic of the race car. A few months later, I ran into him at the Long Beach Grand Prix and found out he owned the race car that I was asking questions about. He never acted like he was too good for anyone and was always smiling. Every time I would see him at a race he always had a hug ready and would invite me to sit in the new race car, he also invited me to go for a ride in the car, never got the chance to. Shaun you will be missed.
