My maternal grandmother passed away on Saturday, 3/12/11, she was 87 years old. It has been 7 months since I lost my other grandmother, I have lost all my grandparents. She was diagnosed with stage 2 lung cancer in the middle of February and was supposed to begin radiation on March 1st but wasn't able to since she was in & out of the hospital. When she passed the cancer had advanced to stage 4. She is no longer in pain and now with my grandpa.
