Pingping of Mongolia was in the Italian capital to appear on a TV show when he was hospitalized for sudden chest pains. He died last week but the news was slow coming. Standing 74.61-cm (2 feet 5 inches) tall, he was registered as the shortest man on the planet by London-based Guinness World Records in 2008.
