I have to preface this RIP with I never heard Paul Gray play with Slipknot…I never heard Slipknot. I did however witness a first class drum performance by their drummer Joey Jordison, who is touring with Rob Zombie. I can imagine the drive that Paul, aka #2 played with.

Paul Gray was still a member of the band and was expecting (with his wife, of course) his first child.

I think it is sad when someone at the age of 38 passes, especially someone who was anxiously awaiting the birth of a child.

That is really sad Teresa. Especially for his wife and family.

I heard that Jose Lima, a baseball player, died the other day, and I believe he was only 38 or so, as well.

That sucks, plain and simple. I valued him as a musician, Slipknot was one of my favorite groups.

I liked Slipknot as well. It scares me when someone roughly my age dies.

Yes on both…not too familiar w/their music although I think they might have done the soundtrack for one of the resident evils and I usually like that music.

Jose Lima….LIMA TIME BAYBEE…..a truly exuberant player, outspoken and controversial for it. A true ambassador for the game of baseball he will be missed…even if he was a lousy dodger at the end!

Man this was tough week for Heavy Metal fans….always in 3s !!!
