My nephew was killed in OEF. He was the gunner on a Humvee which was blown up by an IED. The driver Julian Brennan was killed instantly. The NCO in charge, Kenny Bowen, survived and struggles everyday while trying to cope with life. Kevin survived for two weeks after the explosion, a horrible two weeks that was. His Mom and little brother decided to have him taken off life support on this day two years ago. I am still amazed at how much this still aches in my heart. He was such a great, funny guy and his death is just so sad. He always wanted to be a Marine and he did more in his 21 years of life than I have in 46. I can't believe it's been two years, it feels like it just happened. If you are a praying type of person, please pray for Kevin's Mom (my sister, Laurie), his brother Daniel and especially Kenny.
