Well, it's been a long month since my Mom had emergency surgery for a perforated bowel…..she's had a tough road to go down…and unfortunately lost her battle this morning. Evidently she ended up with another perforation somewhere because she developed sepsis poisoning again and was just too weak to fight the infection. She was a tough lady..retired from a factory at t 65 only to go back to work 6 months later for a hospital cleaning Dr.'s offices….second shift, no doubt, and worked until she was 82. She was a true fighter and gave it her best shot. She was going to be 90 on Feb 28th.

You will be greatly missed…

I'll love you forever..

Until we see each other again…

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. She sounds like she was a remarkable woman and lived a good life. I'm sending up prayers and positive thoughts for all. Take care, Wrighty.

How very sad.

I'm sorry to hear it and you will be in my thoughts.

Thanks so much everyone. I truly appreciate it.

It's never easy to lose a loved one, but I take comfort in believing of a peaceful, beautiful life on the other side.

A big *hug* to all of you.

Just a little something I would like to share with everyone……this happened the night before Mom passed.

My sister and I were visiting her in the rehab center and Mom was looking at the wall and was talking….so my sister asked her who she was talking to….she said she was talking to Joe. My sister asked if she was talking to her brother, who's name was Joe and was killed in WWII. Mom said no, I'm talking to Joe, my father….he's standing right there. Her father passed 35 years ago.

That is so neat, Wrighty. I just know he was there to help her cross over. Thank you for sharing this very special moment with all of us. Take care my friend.
