I write this with a very heavy heart.

Sammy became ill at the end of October with Severe Aplastic Anemia and had been receiving platelet transfusions 1 or 2 times a week since, and had a couple very bad reactions to a few of the transfusions. He was home 2 days before Christmas and was rushed back to the hospital Sunday night with an infection in his bowels.

Sweet little 4 year old Sammy passed this morning at 5:30.

I love you and will miss you forever…

I don't have children, but I have a very visceral response when I hear of the death of a child. Sorry for your loss.

I'm terribly sorry. This kind of news tears at my heart. I agree with Theresa, I have a very strong visceral reaction to this kind of thing. My condolences, Wrighty.
