Reports out of San Diego area indicate that Junior Seau's housekeeper found him dead in his bedroom this morning from a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. There is a possibility of it being a suicide as Dave Dureson (former Bears defensive great) killed himself in a similar fashion in February. He avoided shooting himself in the head because he wanted his brains examined for signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) as a result of head trauma suffered whilest playing football.

Great player but seemed to have troubles adapting to life after football, very sad.
