I just saw a rerun of a Desperate Housewives episode she was in. She didn't have any of her southern charm added to that role! She was plain SCARY!

P.S. Monk, I went to the website "Dead or Alive?" to find out if he was still living. /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> Hal Holbrook was touring his one man show as late as last Fall (I think it was fall) and came to the Tennessee theater in Knoxville.

That's a big RIP from me. Classy woman. I loved Designing Women, but also remember the first Sit-Com she appeared on: Filthy Rich. It was much campier than DW, and only lasted for a few eps...but was still funny.

Its a shame that Hal Holbrook will have to carry on without her.

I thought Hal Holbrook was already gone! Oh well...didn't watch the show and have no idea who this person is, but I'll just say sorry for the loss!
