Davy Jones of the 60's group The Monkees died today of a heart attack. He was 66.

I used to watch The Monkees when I was a kid, in reruns. Even though they were called the Pre-Fab Four as an insult for apparently being considered a rip-off version to counter the Beatles, I think they were a great band in their own right. Though they may not have had as many hits as the Beatles their songs still hold up to this day. In my opinion.
