eta: it's now hitting the news feeds. infomercial king Billy Mays found dead today at age 50.

Love wikipedia! I actually relied on this page for my blog the other day talking about things coming in threes.
One of the things that I noticed in reading that list….there were a whole bunch of well-known saxophonists who died this month. Makes me wonder, doe saxophonists bite the bullet regularly, are they just so plentiful that several die every month, or was June a banner month for the deaths of saxophone luminaries?

Would Fred Travalena be a big enough star to start a thread on? He just passed from non – hogkins lymphoma at 66. I remember him from Johnny Carson, Mike Douglas & Merv Griffen show doing his really bad impressions…don't know.

OK, so I read all of the deaths listed for June. There were a few suicides by hanging. I really didn't think those types of suicides would be very common. I was surprised.
