Mollie Sugden dies at 86 after a prolonged illness. If you haven't seen "Are you being Served?", you've got to check it out. A BBC sitcom about the craziness in a Dept. Store. Sugden played Mrs. Slocombe who frequently made reference to her cat in a risque fashion. Also her insanely colored hair…as seen above.

I used to watch this show on PBS many years ago.
She will definitely be missed.

The show used to play on PBS that's where I used to see it, my Mom was a fan of the show ch12 i think. My Mom also gets the credit for turning me onto Monty Python AND believe it or not South Park (don't ask)

Are You Being Served Again was also very funny. the chemistry between molly the rest of the cast was just wonderful. no matter how down you were, an episode of either series would have you laffing like a fool in no time. the woman would do anything for a laff. so would john inman aka mr humphries.
you have to be thankful there are people like them who are in the world to make us laff and forget reality sometimes.
