Hello fellow paranormal enthusiasts! I am taking a moment out of a very busy workday because something came up that I just can’t let go unremarked. I try to focus on the positive aspects of the paranormal: community, learning, understanding, how we can grow and move forward, etc.; however, occasionally something pops up that just leaves me thinking what the fadge?
I’m guessing that many of you are a step ahead of me on this one, but just in case you’re not, let me explain. Several months ago I heard a little rumor about Bravo’s Atlanta Housewives joining TAPS for a little ghost hunting. At the time, I thought, “oh how ridiculous,” and I dismissed it. Until today when the press release arrived. It’s a televised event, folks. Three of the walking disasters from the Real Housewives of Atlanta will be appearing on the December 1 episode of Ghost Hunters.
I’m going to admit it. My busy schedule keeps me from watching much television lately. I haven’t watched GH in quite some time. Last year when I was unemployed I did manage to keep up on the Real Housewives, however. The train-wreck quality of the show at times made it impossible for me to look away. Mostly because I can’t fathom that real people actually act like that. But then, I feel the same way about the characters from the MTV hit, Jersey Shore.
So here are my predictions for the most bizarre and head-scratching television crossover since the folks from CSI appeared on an episode of Two and a Half Men. No – this one is even weirder. Here’s what I think you can expect to see:
-Bewigged blonde mistress Kim Zolciak believes her wig is being tugged by a ghost – only to discover that it is actually just the exceedingly unkind and snarky Sheree Whitfield.
-Speaking of Sheree, she and the tacky NeNe leaks prove to be excellent at EVP sessions, starting each with “Are you talking to me, Boo?”
-Zolciak mistakes the baldfather Hawes for her sugar daddy, Big Poppa. Hilarity ensues.
-Zolciak is, indeed, Tardy for the Party, forcing the TAPS crew to wait hours before getting on with the hunt.
-When confronted with a shadow figure, Lekes pokes it in the chest with a stiletto and yells at it to get out of her face.
-Steve Gonsalves mistakes one of Zolciak’s false eyelashes for a giant spider, resulting in one of his entertaining freak outs.
I’m sure there’s more – but honestly, is it something we want to watch? Even wrestlers and Meatloaf may be preferable to this oh-so-bizarre pairing. Will you be watching? And if so, will it be because you love GH, because you love the Real Housewives of Atlanta, or because you just can’t look away? Up next, Snooki and crew join Josh and crew in a Destination Truth/Jersey Shore crossover. Are you listening SyFy? Nobody wants to see that.
