I know, I know. I’ve been mighty inattentive to the blogging feature of this site lately. It’s not that I lack the will or desire – but I do lack the time. Blogging has always been my pleasure and, in many ways, my refuge. I miss it, but something had to go. You see, after 18 months of unemployment I’ve returned to more than full-time work last Monday. Since then, I’ve been sitting glued to my computer for nine or ten hours per day, writing stuff. It’s okay. I love to write, and we certainly will do better with me actually earning an income, but between that and the epic battle I’ve been fighting with a kidney stone since April 1 – and more recently in the past few days – I’m pretty wonked by the end of the day. Sure, part of it could be the percocet. I get that. But the other part is that I’ve had to move my passion for PUG to the back burner for a while so that I can concentrate on hitting the ground running with my work, keeping my house clean, laundry done and family fed and keeping myself sane.

My guess is that, after a few weeks, I’ll be in the groove and I’ll be able to spend some time doing what I love the best.

In the meantime, just because I’m not blogging all of the time doesn’t mean there’s nothing here for you to do. Check out our forums, stop by our galleries to analyze some evidence, read back issues of the magazine or listen to our OnDemand radio shows and podcasts that feature great guests from the paranormal community.
