Scores of paranormal researchers and ghost hunting enthusiasts are expected to haunt Waxahachie Texas Saturday, March 23, 2013 for their second annual Texas Paranormal Unity Fest. This year’s event is being held at the Waxahachie Civic Center located just off of I-35 and Highway 287. It will have something to offer to serious paranormal researchers and the curious public.

The Texas Paranormal Unity Fest is being held as a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

“1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime” says Becca Shugart the event organizer. That is about 220,000 woman and 2150 men diagnosed every year. Our hope is to raise awareness of this life threatening disorder and to help raise funds to support ongoing research. So many lives touched by this disease, we just want to make a difference.”

Well-known personalities from the field of paranormal research are donating their time for the fundraiser and will be on hand to give presentations, book signings, and to lead the nighttime paranormal investigation.
