So, I’ve seen different variations of this video on YouTube. I’ve read debunkers siting time lapse and digital manipulation. You can’t see the top of the door frame, as well as the bottom at certain points.

Personally, I think that the image that appears to show up inside the door at around 55 seconds into the video is an alien. Definitely. LOL

I have doors pop open in my house all the time. That doesn’t mean that it is supernatural…lol….! Drafts, pets, or the good old stand-by fishing line (which is apparently the cause of many “hauntings” you see on television) could all be at play….

I think that someone was hiding in the pantry. I notice that you can’t see the inside of the pantry on the right side after the first time the door opens because that corner is obscured by the door. There is a weird stillness around 1:05 which could be when the camera was turned off to allow the person to get out of the pantry.

Nice video. Gave me the chills on first viewing. A few other viewings slowed down revealed other things.

Sadly, the video is just a clip so we can’t judge it as a whole. I have to question any hand held video that captures the right moment at the right time. How long was the person standing there, etc? In a case such as this… I would tend to believe a set up camera more over a certain amount of time.

Second, if you watch slowly, the apparition fades in from the right side. As if it was hiding off to the right. The left hand appears first, then the face, then the right hand. That tends to make me believe someone was hiding off to the right.

Third, @1:03 the video does pause for just a second and does have a “jump” which indicates to me something happened at that moment — most likely a pause in filming.

Someone is clearly hiding inside the pantry to the viewer’s right. You will notice that no sweeping shot of the pantry’s interior side walls are ever shown.

And this is getting good ratings, you say? For what? Entertainment value?? Production quality??? Surely, those watching it aren’t gullible enough to believe it authentic.

    This one’s a no-brainer — and I don’t mean in the hungry zombie sense.

This one was debunked by a photoshop expert. he was able to recreate it perfectly with a photo of his daughter that was mainpulated. it’s just a trick of photoshop and an eye for detail when editing his video. It was a great scare for several days, my husband and myself sent this to everybody we knew, watching it over and over for a couple days because we couldn’t believe it. That’s how he found the video (it’s on youtube) of the gentleman who debunked it and exactly how the film maker made it.

I have seen this video in its entirety. The pantry is not large enough to hide a child or any person. Watch it again and keep your eye on the glass in the door and not the pantry. It is trick photography. The continuing story is that the people that made this video used the paranormal theme because of its popularity. Their true goal was to show their filming expertise and they did a good job for amateurs.

As an investigator by profession it threw up red flags right from the beginning. As a Paranormal Investigator of many years I knew it was a set up from the start? How do I know it is not real? Ask yourself what would you have done if it were your pantry?

They state that the door would be opened after they closed it at night. For me, if it were my pantry and this was happening, I wouldn’t be filming just the door but would have a stationary camera set on the open pantry itself all night from a good distance. A stationary camera filming the entire area is what we call integrity shots in the biz. (investigation biz) Tight shots are a tool for deception.

Think about it. How convenient for them that it happened exactly at the time they were standing there filming with a hand held camera trained only on certain spots. However from an entertainment standpoint it was an interesting spooky video.

As mentioned before he was focused on the area and when he went back He put his hand in the area without touching anything. This tells me of a staging.

One of the main give aways and any veteran of investigations will tell you, If such a vivid face pops up in your screen, it sends you for a loop. It’s a natural reaction like walking around a corner and finding a rotweiller standing there. A self defense mechanism kicks in and you jump back. Any apparition that clear has the energy to hoist you up and send you flying.
This man simply walked up and opens the door. Presto no more ghost, look at me stick my hand in there.
If such a thing would disturb a hardened veteran that guy would have pissed himself. Just saying

the doorknob dosen’t move @26-28 seconds, clearly photoshoped

I noticed a lot of things that the replys above did too. No scanning pictures of the right side of the pantry. The door knob did not move, ANDthe most obvious thing is that the camera man did not jump or move backwards when he supposedly saw the apparition in the door. Everyones instinct when they see something unexplanable is to move backw.. ..and quickly, also they would jump out of fright or maybe even shreak a little. I also noticed when he goes to check out the pantry the second time after seeing the apparition, his hand is moving around the items on the shelf. Why is he doing that? I highly doubt that anyone who just saw an apparition would be sticking their hand into that closet for any reason. Fake indeed!

What everyone has missed the most is SOMEONE IS STANDING IN THE PANTRY TO BEGIN WITH!!! They taped it with a person there and that person opened it and the film takes over without them in there and then it picks it back up with them in it! This is two films over lapping each other at points. FAKE!!!
