You may have noticed recently that Cheryl, Chad and I haven’t been hanging out much in the Paranormal Underground paranormal community. But one look around our new website, and you’ll see what we’ve been up to.
The site has been a long time coming. We originally conceived of it in January, and we’ve been working ourselves into a position to implement it since then. It took us a while to find the right web professional to implement our vision, and luckily, we came across Melanie at Full Thought Computer Consulting. She’s been great. We needed a lot of unique things implemented, and Melanie’s done everything we asked.
We built this site for you. Because we think it’s time that the public dialog about the paranormal changed. We think that it’s time that anyone who wants to participate in paranormal research and paranormal data gathering can do so – even if they aren’t a part of a paranormal investigative team. We think it is time that anyone with an idea, hypothesis or theory about the paranormal has a place where it can be shared, discussed, and maybe even tested. And most of all, we believe that every viewpoint about the paranormal is valuable – whether you are a skeptic, a believer or something in between. We want to hear those points of view.
Paranormal Underground is here to give you a voice and a place where you are making a difference in the advancement of the paranormal field as a whole. We do this by providing information and entertainment about the paranormal through our paranormal podcasts, paranormal blogs, and monthly paranormal e-Magazine. And we’d love it if you would share your data, information and opinions with us.
Here are just a few of the features of the new site that can help you participate in advancing the discussion about the paranormal:
-Galleries allow you to download EVPs, paranormal photographs, personal paranormal experiences and paranormal videos. You can also comment on items in the gallery and discuss the evidence presented.
-Our members blog is a place where you can blog about your paranormal theories and opinions. You can also comment on all of the blogs – including a critical thinking blog, editors’ blog, science blog and guest blog.
-JD Harrison’s paranormal experiments allow you to participate in data gathering that could further our understanding of the paranormal.
-If you want to kick back and have fun with others who share your interests, we’ve got that covered, too. Join us on our paranormal forums or paranormal chats.
At Paranormal Underground, we’re excited about the possibilities of where the paranormal field can go. And we want to be at the leading edge of this exciting frontier with our members. The web site, e-Magazine and podcasts are just a start. We have plans and we’re going places. We hope you will join us.
